Race (powers): He’s a Chosen One and his powers are that he can read peoples thoughts and (later) he learns he can control people’s thoughts and actions to his advantage
Age: 18

Appearance: about 6’0ft, skinny, with short black hair and has blue/green eyes. He also has a strange ‘birth’ mark on his arm.

Personality: he’s a very quiet guy who tries to stay out of trouble. He prefers to be at home reading a good book instead of at a basketball game. He’s the nerdy guy who tends to catch all the attention of the jocks. Even though he could use his powers to stop them he chooses not to because he doesn’t want to be thought of as the strange guy.

Occupation(if any): works at the local bookstore

Parents, family, special friends: He lives with his uncle, Gary, since his parents were killed when he was young. He really doesn’t have friends due to the fact he chooses not to have them and he is the ‘invisible’ guy no one can remember (until they want his homework). Though there is a girl that he has liked since middle school, Annabelle, she a senior as well and really doesn’t notice him at all but instead of trying to get her attention he just watches from afar. She’s head cheerleader, homecoming queen, etc. Etc.

Home: a small worn down four roomed house (bathroom, kitchen, 1 room and study)
Animal(s): none due to where he lives, but he prefers cats


Summary of background: he’s a senior in high school and since he was young he’s lived with his uncle. His uncle is the only family he has that he knows of, but his uncle is a drunk and is never home and when he is he’s sleeping. So Tavin basically has to fend for himself since there is never money in the house because it usually goes to booze or occasionally bills. Tavin never knew what happened to his parents all he knows is that they died in a car crash (or did they?) In school Tavin is very good in English and Math, but would rather not do most science and he HATES P.E. Tavin is hopeful that once he graduates that he can go to college and become a teacher. Since Tavin was 15 he has been noticing himself changing, he started to be able to read people’s minds, he first thought he was going crazy, he still thinks he is (until later). Even if he’d never want to admit it he truly wants to go on an adventure. He does get tired of being that nerd that no one cares about and sometimes wishes he could be more ‘popular.’ Mainly to get Annabelle’s attention and so the jocks don’t punch him and throw him into lockers. He soon starts having strange dreams with a girl with fiery red hair that has the same mark on her arm as him and he’s never seen the girl in his life but he feels like he knows her well. Tavin just pushes it aside though thinking that the dreams will stop eventually. Though a feeling inside him makes him want to find this mysterious red haired girl.
